Disney Consumer Products is the business segment of The Walt Disney Company that extends our brands and franchises to merchandise ranging from apparel, toys, home décor, food and beverages, stationery, electronics and animation art.

The Associate supports the execution of the Lucasfilm and The Simpsons franchise strategies across Consumer Products.

Your responsibilities will include:

Franchise / Brand Development

• Support managers in development of annual brand plans

• Lead data collection and deck creation for internal and external business updates

• Competitive analysis including tracking and providing updates

Partner Management

• Manage and track internal advertising approval processes (OPA)

• Manage relationships directly with content partners to route incoming submissions and ensure that all materials adhere to brand guidelines and are approved by key partners

• Facilitate communication with Commercialization, Publishing and Games teams regarding franchise updates, tools availability, etc.

Communication and Sales Tools

• Sales and marketing tool development, including: fact sheets, brand decks, sizzles and product updates, collecting presentations and sharing with teams as needed etc.

• Development and maintenance of team calendars including content and product release calendars by franchise, deliverables calendar

General Support

• Management of team meetings including scheduling, agenda generation and notes distribution. Assist on follow-up as needed.

• Coordinate and participate in team brainstorms

• Coordinate and manage content updates and screening process including generating attendee list, scheduling, etc.

• Manage and execute ad hoc projects

• Support team with the development of presentation materials; proficiency in PowerPoint and Keynote is highly preferred.

You will have:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 1-2 years work experience in a closely related field

• Self-starter, motivated, proactive, conscientious, flexible, detail oriented

• Fanship of one or both brands is a plus!

• Excellent organizational skills

• Ability to project manage and handle multiple deadlines

• Excellent communications (verbal and written) and collaboration skills

• Solid presentation skills

• Resourceful, innovative and responsive to change

• Computer skills (Excel, Power Point, Word, Keynote)
