• Review and post Accounts Payable & PO Vouchers, maintain reconciliation reports as well as perform special projects to improve process efficiency and performance.
• Ensure financial records and master data are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures, process reports for vendors and customers. Prepare complete and accurate entries such as adjusting journal entries, recurring entries and cash receipts
• Generate contract and financial reports in accordance with specified requirements, assist with preparing of contract milestone payments and accounts receivable. Provide financial support for financial reporting and analysis. Assist with testing and receive final approval for system reports required for management and financial reporting. Maintain process and procedures documentation for finance.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly and year end internal reports and customer specific reporting.

Preferred Education / Experience:

• Associates/Bachelors in related discipline
• 1+ years in related discipline or;
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to above

Preferred Knowledge / Ability:

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of Excel
• Understanding of accounting processes, procedure and internal controls
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to succeed in a team environment
• Customer Service oriented
• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
• Detail oriented with strong organizational, research and analytical skills.
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills.
• Experience working in an ERP environment
