Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists property manager to operate the property within the financial guidelines and budget.
- Helps to direct office staff; ensures that all staff operates within established policies and procedures and measures performance against established property goals.
- Through example and supervision, ensures a professional appearance and attitude for all property staff.
- Helps to maintain occupancy at established levels by ensuring that established sales techniques and methods are used effectively by leasing staff.
- Assists in directing staff to respond to all resident requests or complaints in a timely, efficient and courteous manner.
- Calls on area employers to distribute sales information.
- Assists with the design, implements and maintains resident retention programs including newsletters and social activities.
- Reports unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding residents or the property.
- Responds to changes in organization and property by assuming additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintains inter-and intradepartmental workflow by fostering a spirit of cooperation.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Assists in all sales and leasing duties.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Traits, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Previous leasing and/or assistant manager experience of an apartment community.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Demonstrated computer skills.
- Demonstrated presentation skills.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
