The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for organizing & supporting a wide range of different construction projects from beginning to end. He or she organize project material orders, implement construction schedules, keep track of supplies, collaborate with field crews, and communicate with General Contractor customers to ensure all projects are completed on time and within specifications. Assistant Project Managers handle both administrative and hands-on work while managing construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily project schedules
  • Primary contact for all glass orders and deliveries
  • Organize submittals and order appropriate job materials
  • Keep shop in good working order and purchase required supplies as needed
  • Constant awareness of job completion status for monthly billing
  • Field crew leadership & support – set performance standards and enforce crew accountability
  • Office admin support – serve as needed for job, equipment, and shop related requests
  • Physical presence on all active jobsites. Support the field crews and personally meet the GC Superintendents on job sites
  • Customer support. Must speak directly with GCs to communicate job status and project changes
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all health and safety protocols

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
