The Assistant Program Manager will provide support to, manage, and oversee the status of all project level activities to ensure the overall program goals are met. This position will engage in various activities relating to product development and product launch support. The Assistant Program Manager organizes projects, creates timelines, updates statuses, helps in planning and communications, and assists in finding creative solutions when needed. This person keeps multiple cross-functional teams on target, builds and updates projects, manages scope and delivers the project requirements on time.

Essential Job Function:

• Coordinate and report on all project activities according to the specifications and deadlines.
• Assist in the coordination of venders and suppliers.
• Follow up with departments and individuals to ensure that the team stays on track for delivering on objectives.
• Provide needed administration support to Program Manager and all R&D new product development & product support projects.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are tracking, and all roles and responsibilities are being met.
• Pro-actively identify risks and work collaboratively with subject matter experts to put mitigation plans in place in advance.
• Regularly provide feedback and actively participate in the improvement of streamlining process & data inputs.
• Focus on logistics management and coordination which includes generation and management of purchase orders.
• Interface and receive current purchase order information from customer portals to accurately enter and maintain information throughout the SeaCast system.

• Efficient & Clear communication – Verbally and Written with all levels of a multi-tier organization.
• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ERP systems (EPICOR a plus) and Microsoft Office software
• Thorough understanding of the inventory cycle
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and facilitate a collaborative environment.
• Ability to assist through issues toward resolution and delivery on action items.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and productivity software.

Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a business-related area highly desired.
• One year aerospace manufacturing.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to multi-task and willing to help in other areas of the company as requested.
• Effectively communicate (written and verbal) with everyone in the company
• Relentless pursuit of improvement in all aspects of the job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
