Then we bake it and serve it fresh and piping hot from our 600 degree WoodStone ovens. Rise Pies found great inspiration in our hometown of Youngstown, Ohio. This includes everything from thick and chewy sheet pizzas made in grandma’s kitchen to the authentic Brier Hill pizza from the community of the same name.

Job Summary:

Assists Restaurant Manager in all food service operations including guest relations; staff supervision and development; sales and marketing; budgeting and sales projections; general cleanliness of dining room and sales reconciliation.

• Responsible for dough prep, assembling and cooking pizzas, and other food and beverage products within Rise Pies’ guidelines.
• Working with your supervisor in the recruitment, screening, interviewing, and hiring of staff. Fax all relevant paperwork to Home Office before employee begins work. Train new employees.
• Perform the training and review the procedures of store personnel to assure consistency and adherence to standards.
• Work with Store Manager to set sales and labor goals and track accomplishments daily. Provide feedback to Store Manager as to why goals are being achieved.
• Assist with weekly schedule in compliance with labor laws. Monitor breaks, overtime and adjust schedule during the week to meet goals.
• Audit all paperwork checking for accuracy and correctness and provide direction for corrective action where necessary. Responsible for the timely receipt of all paperwork to Home Office.
• Responsible for the adherence of entire staff to cash handling policies and procedures and accountable for cash shortages.
• Maintain a Managers In-box for placement of all paperwork/invoices other than Daily Cash Reports and Weekly Store Reports.
• Responsible for assisting the Store Manager with ordering uniforms, small wares, parts and any other relevant materials for your store.
• Clean equipment periodically and comply with preventive maintenance standards.
• Develop staff incentive programs. Seek ways and recommend programs and policies directed at improving employee morale. Encourage team building, promote loyalty, and generate enthusiasm for the Auntie Anne’s system and organization. Create excitement!
• Present all information/changes to employees in a positive manner.
• Comply with all Rise Pies policies and procedures, including relevant federal and state regulations.
• Perform all of the essential duties of this position in a safe and effective manner, consistent with the prescribed method and guidelines established by Rise Pies.
• Perform other duties as directed by your supervisors.
• Perform all job tasks in every aspect of the operation of the restaurant including lifting items weighing up to 25 lbs., in a safe and effective manner

Qualifications:

• Management experience in a retail, restaurant, or other fast-paced environment
• A valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work all shifts, including weekends and evenings.
