Assistant Gym Manager Job Summary

Conquer Ninja Gyms is the market leader and the most recognized brand in the Sport of Ninja. Conquer Ninja Gyms provide children, adults, and families the ability to engage in obstacle course activities and the Sport of Ninja. Conquer Ninja serves both individuals and groups and develops agility, confidence, strength, balance, and endurance in a fun and positive environment.

A Conquer Assistant Gym Manager is to ensure that our members and customers receive exceptional service from a knowledgeable and friendly Conquer Employee. Assistant Gym Managers assist in training and developing Conquer trainers, host birthday parties, and coach ninja classes and teams. Assistant Gym Managers will resolve all membership issues, update customer accounts, manage employee hours, engage in classes and events, and maintain event schedules with the guidance of the Gym Manager. Ultimately, an Assistant Gym Manager is responsible for the operations of the gym to run smoothly in a well-maintained facility. If you are a highly motivated and organized person who loves to work with kids and have fun, Conquer is the right fit for you. Ninja experience is not necessary!

Responsibilities and Duties

· Instruct Ninja classes and birthday parties

· Uphold and enforce company policies

· Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to staff

· Schedule employees and keep the gyms schedule up to date

· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service

· Maintain outstanding gym condition and visual merchandising standards

· Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)

· Lead by example in all areas outlined in Conquer’s core beliefs

· Meet regularly with upper management to stay informed on company issues

· Additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

· At least 1 year of experience in sales and customer service

· An engaging, outgoing personality, and passion for helping customers

· Ability to communicate well to both prospects and customers

· Excellent organizational skills and self-motivated

· Powerful leading skills and business orientation

· Customer management skills

· Have the desire to work with children ages 5 and older

· Willing to work nights and weekends

Ideal Qualifications:

· Personal Training Certification

· Coaching or group fitness experience

· Management experience

· Flexible Schedule

Job Type: Part-time/full-time

Salary: $17.00-19/hour plus eligible for bonus and tips
