Assistant Director Position
We are currently looking for an assistant director to bring on as an addition to our current team as our school keeps growing! A member of our Admin team must be well organized and able to handle many different obligations. An Assistant Director’s responsibilities include the following:
We are currently looking for an assistant director to bring on as an addition to our current team as our school keeps growing! A member of our Admin team must be well organized and able to handle many different obligations. An Assistant Director’s responsibilities include the following:
ADMINISTRATIVE
- Maintain compliance with GSI's standards;
- Maintain accurate records, such as children's and faculty member's files, to meet both the state's and GSI's requirements;
- Manage classroom scheduling
LICENSING:
- Comply with all current licensing regulations.
PERSONNEL:
- Recruit, interview and manage faculty members;
- Manage faculty members' schedules;
- Conduct the faculty orientation;
- Maintain accurate faculty files;
- Help plan and implement in-service meetings for faculty members three times a year;
PROGRAM, PROGRAM SUPPORT and PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
- Develop the program and curriculum;
- Conduct classroom ratio checks throughout the day;
- Incorporate GSI curriculum resources;
- Plan and implement a year-round calendar with admin team;
- Provide the faculty with assistance in preparing lesson plans and developing themes;
- Review the Daily Activity Reports;
SALES AND MARKETING:
- Follow through with all prospective customers;
- Enroll/Tour new families;
- Develop and maintain customer relations;
- Able to Open or Close the school
