Assistant Brewer

Movement Brewing Co. is hiring! We are looking for a full time Assistant Brewer for our 15bbl brewhouse. The ideal candidate is a person with 2+ years of experience in professional brewery operations. The assistant brewer will report directly to our Head Brewer and will be actively involved in all facets of the day-to-day operation. Benefits, 401k, bonus potential.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform Clean in Place (CIP) operations
  • Maintain cleanliness of all brewery equipment
  • Keep accurate records of brewing, cellaring, packaging
  • Helping with brewing production: milling, mashing, boiling, transferring, dry hopping, carbonating and cooling
  • Keg cleaning and sanitization
  • Assists with packaging and kegging beer as needed
  • Performing quality testing on products
  • Tracking inventory
  • Keeping the facility clean and functional
  • Data entry and paperwork as needed
  • Cellar management and organization
  • Did we mention cleaning?

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Passion for craft beer
  • Prior professional brewing experience
  • Team player that is willing to wear different hats
  • Ability to be on feet all day and able to lift 55+ lbs regularly

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Ekos is a plus
  • Operate a fork lift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
