Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Reports to: Supervisor
Primary Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
- Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
- Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools.
- Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications.
- Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers and verniers.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relative experience in a manufacture environment preferred
- Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness, history of monitoring own work to ensure quality.
- Possesses ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and has the ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.
- Actively observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities in a very fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to work with limited direction to make decisions.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
- Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
- Must wear gloves and ear protection.
