NOW HIRING: Assembler/Painter

Salary: $20-24/hour DOE
(this is a direct hire opportunity)

2nd Shift: Monday – Friday 3:30pm – 12am

In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and painting of parts and materials, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet internal and external specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Mix and prepare painting materials, including filler, primer, paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer, and epoxies.
• Clean, sandblast, fill, wash, shellac, and prime parts before painting.
• Review manufacturing information sheets, order forms, and government specifications to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Apply paint using appropriate spray guns or brushes.
• Schedule and maintain accurate inventories of paint materials, conduct audits, and ensure proper paint classification.
• Assist in other areas of the Assembly Team, which may involve part assembly, procuring materials, and preparing shipments.
• Complete necessary QA/Customer documentation accurately.
• Safely lift and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, or jib cranes.
• Demonstrate a commitment to Continuous Improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancement.
• Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality Standards, as well as OSHA and EPA regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of commercial painting experience.
• Certification in overhead and jib crane operation and forklift operation.
• Proficiency in using thickness gauges and viscosity meters.
• Ability to wear a respirator while painting.
• Knowledge of liquid measurements and basic math.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
