In Advisor Services we have built our business on serving the needs of RIAs and advancing an industry that helps the advisor and their clients thrive. We understand their needs, and work side by side providing them the support to help them manage their firm and meet their goals. In the centralized Workflow Solutions team, our mission is to provide quality and timely workflow support to our service teams and our Advisors.
Our Workflow Solutions Associate is primarily focused on the operational work submitted by our Advisors, making outbound calls to our Advisors on work that is not in good order. Timely and accurate processing of these items is critical for the success of our business.
What you are good at
Handle money movement and account change operational requests- Reach out to advisors and clients on not-in-good-order work via the phone or electronic message
- Leverage internal resources to gain self-sufficiency in handling all job responsibilities
- Adhere to department metrics for accuracy and production
- Practice active listening to solve advisor needs and build rapport with others in the department
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure timely and accurate handling of client requests
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of features and benefits of Schwab tools, products, and services
- Actively seek new learning opportunities within your current role to increase scope and production
What you have
Excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to problem solve, interact with individuals at various levels, and think on your feet- Attributes of an entrepreneurial self-starter and have a proven ability to deliver excellent client service with the ability to anticipate and resolve problems under your own initiative
- Willingness to pivot and constantly shift focus based on needs of the entire team and organization
- Ability to multi-task and handle a large quantity of volume at once, while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Superior communication, presentation, interpersonal and listening skills
- Intermediate technical skills with the ability to utilize at least 5 different applications at any one time, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), internet researching, database systems and email
