Job Description

This is a TEMPORARY 3 Day Contract to support a retail client at three Northern VA locations.

Location: Fairfax, Falls Church, Alexandria

FT/PT: Contract / Temp

Shift(s): 6-8 April 1500-2000

Hourly pay rate: $27.00 Per Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Maintain a digital log of events, incidents and concerns throughout the property.
• Report to supervisors as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law on a random schedule.
• Must have an active Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Security Officer registration. Must have Armed registration with Firearm Endorsement for Armed positions.
• Have reliable transportation and smart phone (Apple or Android) capable of utilizing company required apps for scheduling and reporting.
