Position Summary:

An ASD position responsible for growing sales and growing /maintaining existing ReactDx accounts, opening new accounts at a consistent cadence. Primary responsibility is expanding share for ReactDx in the Impantables, Mobile Cardiac Telemetry, and Long-Term Holters markets. The Area Sales Director is responsible for traveling throughout a large (sometimes multi-state territory) and providing competition and customer service to high-value accounts. Providing the Director and Company field intelligence.

Management Responsibilities:

Area Sales Director is responsible for a team of area representatives assigned (may not be by geography). They bear the responsibility of coaching, evaluating, and providing feedback for and to the representatives in their area. They will provide strategic insight and assist in planning with the Divisional Sales Director on their area. ASDs will not be responsible for annual reviews or compensation.

Essential Functions:

  • Meet or exceed annual revenue targets and/or unit (test) targets by number or %.
  • Develop an annual business plan with quarterly revisions to ensure proper targeting, strategy, and tactics
  • Develop/enhance relationships in accounts _ as well as internally _ to grow market share while resolving any service issues to ensure customers? complete satisfaction
  • Religiously maintain Salesforce.com with call notes as well as detailed account profiles & interactions
  • Update management and marketing on industry trends, product advancements, & customer needs
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

  • A proven track record of success with a minimum of 5 years of medical or pharmaceutical sales experience within Cardiac or Electrophysiology with demonstrable relationships in those fields. (exceptions on Cardiac depending on relevance in market for which the candidate is being hired)
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time.
  • A four (4) year degree.
  • Active Non-Compete Agreements (that are legally enforceable) with competitive companies must not be in force
  • Desired Background:
  • Understanding how to navigate a medical environment such as a physician office, clinic, or hospital.
  • Experience selling a service based solutions to customers.
  • Able to work and succeed independently without supervision.
  • Cardiology or Electrophysiology experience.
