Why we need you:
The Area Director will lead and manage the ongoing property operations of company Short Term Rental Program (Tucker) within the region, identifying and addressing issues, assisting with implementing new initiatives, onboarding new properties, and updating senior management on a consistent basis.
Responsibilities:
What your day to day might look like:
- Manage the ongoing property operations of Tucker program within a defined region
- Communicate regularly and effectively with Community Directors, Regional Managers, Regional Vice President, and Tucker leadership
- Answer all incoming calls and responds to all guest complaints in a timely fasion
- Provide support to onsite Community Directors, address ongoing issues, and ensure constant communication
- Trach maintenance requests to ensure all work orders are addressed in a timely manner
- Monitor, evaluate, and manage housekeeping services provided by third parties
- Address property-specific logistics questions/concerns (guest access, parking, concierge, etc.)
- Lead property onboarding efforts and property staff expectations
- Perform pre/post-stay inspection of properties when needed
- Monitor online guest revews and implement new initiatives to promote positive guest experiences
- Proactively identify issues and/or quality assurance concerns
- Oversee inventory management - track, submit, and stock supply orders to maintain sufficient levels
- Assist in creation of marketing materials and guest instructions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Vice President
We're looking for:
- A high degree of organization and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to direct the work of others
Some things we can't live without:
- High school education or equivalent - college degree preferred
- Three (3) years of previous property management experience
- Must be able to operate personal computer and have knowledge of MS Office propducts and other apartment management software
- Up to 80% local travel / up to 10% travel outside assigned market
