Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY: The Application Specialist manages a variety of data in programs, databases and external reporting structures to create efficiency, regulatory compliance and data integrity. Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of complex integrated information systems as required for the efficient operation of the department. Provides end user education and problem solving as required. Coordinates with others to obtain data elements, operational definitions, problem identification and resolution. Responsible for data entry, coordinating, prioritizing and generating a variety of reports. Maintains a working knowledge and ability to design, manage and interpret statistical data. Qualifications:
Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Expected pay for this position is between $22.01-$25.89; Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School/GED
Experience: 1 year experience working with field specific software systems or Information Technology.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or Computer Science, Technical or other equivalency.
