Overview
ClearEdge3D is a software firm with deep experience in computer vision algorithms for automating the creation of 3D models from laser scanned point clouds. We’re seeking energetic individuals who are strongly motivated to apply their skills towards working on exciting projects. You will work with our development team to help release cutting-edge software. This is a great opportunity with an innovative, rapidly growing company. This position can be in-office (Superior, Colorado office location), or remote. Your daily responsibilities will include a mixture of quality assurance software/hardware testing and customer-facing support. This hybrid position requires an individual who embodies a technical mindset while also showing proficiency in communicating internally, as well as with end-users. Individuals who pivot quickly between priorities will find multiple opportunities to learn and grow within the company.
Responsibilities
- Test and audit software/hardware products to ensure quality assurance and diagnose product failures.
- Support the product management team by preparing product releases.
- Responds to and resolves incoming customer support tickets in a timely and effective manner.
- Provides Demos and Trainings for end-users learning the software
- Provides verbose documentation involving customer technical issues and bugs to support product quality enhancements.
- Implements systems to bring about smoother, more efficient processes.
- Provides IT, operational, and project support to development organization.
- Communicates with fellow team members, the development team, the product management team, and the sales team daily to ship high quality software.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- AS/AA/BS/BA in a technology-related field is a bonus, but not necessary.
- A background in software and/or information technology is preferred. A technical mindset is required.
- Customer-facing experience preferred.
Knowledge and Abilities
- Adept in technical problem-solving, especially within a complex IT environment.
- Adept at maintaining composure and good communication in customer-facing environments while troubleshooting.
- Proficient in team environments with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling, photogrammetry, laser scanning, or computer-aided design is a bonus.
- Knowledge of construction, architecture, and engineering industries is a bonus.
- Japanese language fluency is a bonus.
Compensation
- This position starts at $22-$24/hr
