WHAT YOU WILL DO
Coordinate, collaborate, and lead application integration any size project work including design to meet customer needs, testing, implementations, and support.
Create detailed app integration solution mapping specifications for Application Integration Engineers.
Provide and oversee the testing of application integration solutions prior to implementation.
Take a lead role for Enterprise EMR Integration Software, related tools, set-up, profiles, testing, error queue monitoring, and maintenance.
Take a leading role in App Integration Tech (analyst) support/repair of application integration solutions.
Help establish standards and processes for application integration development and maintenance; gain agreement/consensus; document and maintain those standards.
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors in order to receive first-hand information on important information such as upgrades, patches, and releases.
Provide job and tool specific training; mentors new team members, especially new techs (analysts) joining the team.
Stay current with healthcare technology, applications, and related integration innovations and brings new ideas for enhancing the team’s offerings for discussion and evaluation.
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
Prior experience working with applications, integration platforms, implementation, and support.
Prior experience designing and supporting HL7 Interfaces and/or other forms of healthcare application integration.
Knowledge of application/system maintenance.
Knowledge of the standards, issues, and applications used to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and information systems.
Knowledge of the range of services providing assistance and technical support to help users implement and solve problems related to information technology.
Demonstrate an interest in personal learning and development.
Understand Project Management concepts and lead projects in skill areas as required.
Qualifications
- Required Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred Master's Degree
- 7 years Experience working with applications, integration platforms, implementation, and support. Required
- Experience designing and supporting HL7 Interfaces Required
- other forms of healthcare application integration Required
- 3 years Experience with the InterSystems HealthShare Development Platform including HL7 and HIE development Preferred
- 2 years Experience with Epic Bridges Interfaces/integration solutions and support, including Epic APIs for Epic Bridges, InterConnect, and Epic Applications Preferred
- EPIC Bridges Certified - EPIC
- EPIC InterConnect Certification - EPIC
- EPIC Chronicles Programmer - EPIC
- InterSystems HealthShare (HIE) - Connect -
