What Will You Be Doing?
The Compensation Analyst is responsible for day-to-day administration of Frontier Airline’s multiple Compensation programs including but not limited to offer recommendations, job evaluations, and salary survey administration. This position assists the Total Rewards team to develop, implement, and maintain the compensation policies, procedures, practices, and programs for Frontier Airlines. The analyst will also assist in ad-hoc reporting for HRIS and SOX compliance.
Essential Functions
Compensation Administration
- Work with Recruiting, HR Services, and department leadership to recommend base salary for incoming candidates.
- Aid in the annual merit administration and job evaluation processes.
- Develop and maintain compensation guidelines and learning resources for management.
- Monitor weekly salary transactions to ensure policy compliance.
- Provide guidance to HR and leadership on compensation related projects and initiatives.
- Ensure all compensation related transactions are SOX compliant by running and maintaining various reports
- Responsible for collective bargaining agreement maintenance. Ensuring pay structures are updated according to plans and periodic audits for plan compliance.
- Market price and make final salary recommendations for all pay grade job offers according to an established evaluation plan.
Projects
- Participate in several industry and nationwide salary and benefits surveys.
- Provides analysis and support for leadership with HRIS related reports. Including salary growth, equity analysis, pay structure, and premium pay.
Other Functions
- May assist the Benefits, HRIS and Payroll Teams in answering level one questions employees have on all Frontier Benefits.
- Communicate and educate employees on Frontier’s Compensation Philosophy through departmental meetings, advisory boards, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years compensation administration, Finance or equivalent analytical experience
- Strong analytical skills and high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with PayScale MarketPay Compensation Survey Management or similar tool desired
- HCM experience, specifically UltiPro desired
- Intermediate to advance knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- CPP or other HR certification a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated analytical abilities, knowledge of compensation theory and practices gained either through education and/or experience, familiarity with pertinent regulations, including Fair Labor Standards Act and Railway Labor Act.
- Knowledge of compensation practices and laws
- Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively and work under pressure deadlines
- Strong written and oral communication skills
