Aircraft Mechanic Helper
This is not a technical aircraft laborer. Incumbents at this level are non-certificated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and, under the direction of a certificated technician, will clean aircraft and parts, assist in aircraft maintenance, and work in the shop. Minimum Qualifications: Possession of the following certificates: High School diploma or GED and a valid class C California driver’s license.
Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of the following certificates: FAA Airframe & Powerplant Technician’s certificates and a valid Class-C California driver’s license.
Knowledge and Abilities:
Basic maintenance procedures and shop safety. Work in a shop environment, follow instructions, manipulate hand and power tools, operate forklift and tow tugs, and work cooperatively with others.
