Position: Engineering Methods Specialist (Planner)
Location: On-site in Wichita, KS
Pay: $75,000-$85,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist processing business unit in creation of shop floor work instructions
- Develop and maintain Methods procedures
- Assist with process planning changes
- Understanding process flow
- Writing technical instructions and interrupting customer specifications
- Create visual aids for presentations and shop aids (templates, masking, stickers, etc.)
- Drawings and specifications, understanding 2D drawings and specifications
- Printing, filing, and help as needed within the Engineering department
- Job requires lifting of product/supplies ranging from minimal to 25 pounds on occasional basis
- Strict compliance with OSHA & Industrial safety practices
- Periodic exposure to warm and cold work environments
- Individual will be required to be mobile, with bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and crouching
Education/Experience:
- 3+ years of methods engineering experience or relevant years of experience
- Technical Certificate or Associates Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Catia V5
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications
- Proficient MS Office skills; strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience, preferred
- Working knowledge of Visual, preferred but not required
- Detail oriented, very organized with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English language.
- Regular attendance is mandatory and must follow all work safety programs

Frequently being on foot, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, climb stairs and kneeling and/or crouch to retrieve files and other items. Writing to complete reports and service requests.
