Aviation & Missile Solutions, LLC. is currently seeking an AMD Test Operations Specialist to join our White Sands Missile Range, NM. team.

The Test Operations Specialist will work as part of an Army Project Office support team to serve as a Test Site Operator and Assistant Test Event Manager. Candidate will assist Government Test Event Managers with test planning and execution on a complex and advanced Air and Missile Defense systems, providing technical systems integration and test support in a lab or field test environment. Candidate creates and modifies defense plans on Air and Missile defense systems and assists Test Control Technicians and other field personnel in resolving technical and software issues on tactical equipment. Provides testing oversite and guidance to all system issues related to Air and Missile defense systems under test. Test experience with major Army systems, such as PATRIOT or IBCS is strongly desired. Requires close communications with management, administrative, staff, and field personnel. Provides test support and prepares daily and weekly reports to appropriate personnel.

During test execution phases, candidate must be willing to travel up to 20 percent time to various test sites/ranges and must be able to work in a high paced environment with a flexible work schedule, including extended hours and weekend work. Test Operation Specialist will be required to operate tactical equipment during range testing, system qualification testing, and HWIL lab testing. This work will occur as part of a Test Execution Team; therefore, the candidate must possess good communication skills and be able to work in a team environment consisting of government and prime contractor personnel from multiple projects, agencies, and labs.
Required Experience:

Candidate must be a US citizen, and must be a resident of the WSMR, New Mexico area. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience is required.

In addition, candidate must possess an Active Secret security clearance.
