Job description

The Edgewater Beach Hotel is looking for an afternoon Lobby and Public Area Attendant. Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain lobby, public restrooms, fitness center, and locker rooms in general in a clean and orderly manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and maintain supplies
• Sweep, mop, scrub, wax and polish floor.
• Dust and clean pictures, baseboards, doors & frames, light fixtures, stairwells, etc…
• Collect all garbage from lobby, restrooms, offices
• Maintain hallways clear and free of debris.
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen, etc.
• Refill the par stock of guest amenities and supplies in restrooms and fitness center
• Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures.
• Report missing / found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisors.
• Respond at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues.
• Take up any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed.

Must be able to work flexible schedule, including, weekends, holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.02 per hour
