Creative Brain Learning is currently looking for an After-School program program leaders for a cutting-edge after-school program. Below is more information regarding this exciting opportunity.

General Responsibilities: The Programs Leaders are responsible for nurturing positive and collaborative relationships with school day staff as well as parents and students. Program Leaders deliver a structured, high quality, safe after-school program, providing diligent adult supervision of students, assistance in homework, and various enrichment activities.

Pay $17.00

Schedule Monday-Friday 2:00- 6:00 pm, Except Tuesday. Tuesday's schedule: 1:00 pm -6:00 pm

Job Description:

· Program Leaders will work directly with an assigned class of approximately 10-20 students

· Follow the daily curriculum and create lesson plans

· Supervise children to maintain their health and safety at all times.

· Provide excellent customer service to all children, families, co-workers, and community members.

· Work cooperatively and collaboratively with co-workers/teammates to ensure the best quality program and services

· Assist with opening and closing procedures each day including room set-up.

· Serve as a positive role model for elementary. Conduct should be respectful, and emphasize appropriate positive values.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 48 college units or passing an assessment test
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Classroom/ youth experience preferred
• Ability to speak and write Standard English
• Must clear TB and Background check
• Must be fully vaccinated against Covd-19 or submit to weekly covid testing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs, stand for long periods of time, bend and stoop.

Training: Training is paid

Uniform: Polo shirt uniform is provided. Bottoms may be shorts and pants of any material. NO basketball shorts or leggings allowed. Closed toed shoes must be worn.

Instructors are hired as employees under a w-4 tax form.

• Classroom management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Child care: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
