About us: Diamond Minds Transformational Leadership Academy is a year-round, private Pre-K through 8 school designed to ensure that each child receives a holistic education which nurtures their physical, emotional, intellectual, social, aesthetic and spiritual needs.

We educate students from a range of communities around the greater Miami area including, Miramar, Little Haiti, Liberty City, Miami Gardens and Aventura. Despite its private status, the school is populated primarily by students who traditionally receive free and reduced lunch. This is possible because of scholarship programs such as Step Up for Students and McKay, as well as internal scholarships supported by donations and fundraising efforts.

The ideal candidate will exhibit the following required skills and experience:

  • A strong commitment to advocate for the rights of others
  • Provide child-focused mediation
  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, manage multiple situations effectively
  • Operate with a strong sense of integrity and accountability
  • A desire to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • The ability to use a computer with basic proficiency
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively
  • Have a history of achieving positive child and family outcomes through high-quality engagement
  • Exhibit superb conflict resolution skills
  • Capacity to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand, formulate, and implement a viable plan of action for each child/family
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of services of families

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
