“Operations Specialist” Responsibilities and Job Description
(Purchasing, Inventory Control, Customer Service, Office Administration)
Indirect, non-supervisory. Reports to Director of Operations.
California Closets is growing and we need a seasoned professional to join our Operations Team. The responsibilities of this position are varied and will be increased or decreased (along with the pay rate) to coincide with your capabilities.
- Purchasing and Inventory Coordination
- Work with Production to order stock and non-stock materials and supplies.
- Identify, order, track and receive job specific “Special Order” items and maintain data accuracy in “CC Dashboard”.
- Project Management/Go-Back Coordinator
- Coordinate larger and more complex projects by working with all parties (Customer, Designer Consultant, Vendors, Operations Management, Production and Installation team members) to ensure the accuracy of all details needed for a successful installation.
- Provide assistance to the entire team in coordinating the activities associated with return visits when project was not successfully completed as initially scheduled.
- “Special Projects”
- Oversee a variety of miscellaneous tasks and projects on an as needed basis.
- Marketing and Showroom
- Coordinate marketing activities and events that center around the showroom.
- Work with General Manager as needed on various marketing related projects.
- Back-Up for Customer Liaison
- Answering phones and greeting customers in the showroom as needed.
- Provide back-up coverage for installation scheduling.
