White Horse Village (WHV) is seeking to add an HR Administrative Assistant to our Human Resources Department! The primary purpose of this position is to assist the entire department in clerical and general support. The HR Administrative Assistant promotes the effective flow of information and manages the office services to ensure a smooth and organized environment.

Duties:

  • Maintains a good work rapport with inter-departmental personnel
  • Assists in planning, developing, organizing and implementing departmental activities as directed
  • Perform administrative duties such as: filing, completing forms, reading memos and attend meetings, as directed
  • Creates and maintains a good customer service environment
  • Politely meets and greets all team members, visitors, residents and guests while covering the front desk.
  • Maintains a professional appearance of the general front desk area.
  • Performs department receptionist activities to ensure effective telephone communications both internally and externally to maintain professional image.
  • Assists with providing for coverage at front desk when primary receptionist is off from work.
  • Creates new employee files and perform department filing.
  • Maintains a sufficient number of office supplies and inventory on a regular basis for the Human Resources and Mailroom Departments.
  • Maintains the team member of the month board.
  • Other duties as necessary

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years administrative experience, preferably in HR
  • Has a strong interest in Human Resources
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Strong ability to maintain an organized work area
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills- strong follow up abilities
  • Strong ability to work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
