Scramble Play Group is looking for an administrative assistant to join our team. As an administrative assistant, you must be friendly, outgoing, and ready to communicate effectively about the wonderful and unique opportunities Scramble provides children and their families for clean, safe fun. Responsibilities

*Field telephone calls and answer emails on behalf of senior staff *Support Associate Director for Parties and Events including contacting party hosts to conduct pre-party coordination to confirm all aspects of the party including guest lists, food orders, and book party favors. *Organize and manage party supply inventory *Communicate with guests to maintain Scramble brand and positive image of the business. *Maintain an organized filing system *Place orders for office equipment or business needs *Create and maintain reports as needed

Qualifications

*Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team to provide exceptional customer service *Strong interpersonal and communication skills - communicate clearly and effectively *Ability to build relationships with guests, the public, and other team members *Proactive, demonstrating the ability to identify, address, and resolve problems as well as suggest improvements *Organized, responsible and dependable with a strong work ethic *Available and willing to work two weekends per month. *Exceptional attention to detail *Ability to organize and create orderly systems *Experienced in computer technology that includes excel, google docs, powerpoint, and social media marketing *Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Education/Experience

Any combination of education and experience providing the knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Minimum employment standards are:

*High School Diploma or equivalent *Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience *Previous guest service or event coordination experience is necessary *Excellent communication skills – verbal and written *Basic record keeping and computer skills and comfortable working with Excel and Microsoft Word software

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.00 - $18.00/hour.
