Accounts Payable Specialist
Reports to: Accounting Manager
Supervises: N/A
Position Overview: We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Management team! This position supports administration and accounting by organizing and entering invoices and following up with vendor invoicing issues. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of accounts payable experience and be familiar with job costing. This administrative professional will demonstrate a detailed work ethic that blends customer satisfaction with business acumen. Additionally, the desired candidate will have a skill set that includes being well-organized, flexibility when confronted with changing business demands, and a pragmatic ability to solve problems.
Position Details:
- Salary: Non-Exempt, $20-$22/hourly with full benefits.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and perform simple administrative tasks.
- Work Schedule: Hours vary based on seasonal needs, must be flexible. Typically M-F, 8a-5p.
- Work Location: 4830 Hendron Rd. Groveport, Ohio 43125
- Work Conditions: Office environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
Accounting Functions
- Credit card reconciliation
- Entry of all bills
- Filing of payables
- Bank statement reconciliation
- Service partner management
- 1099
- W-9
- COI
- Monthly PO reconciliation
Branch Administrative Functions
- Answering a multi-line phone system
- Ordering of supplies for the office
- Search for BWC and small business grants
- Trademark Yard School
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or 1 year of experience in AP and other accounting functions
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Preferred Skills:
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) and English
Knowledge and Competencies:
- Strong work ethic, embracing accountability and consistency
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, quickly-changing environment
- Teamwork collaboration
