Midtown Home Improvements is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk for our growing team at our corporate office. We are a family-owned and operated company that is celebrating our 33rd year of business we are now operating in multiple states as one of the top 50. Responsibilities:

• Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Answer all vendor inquiries
• Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and accounts payable files
• Assists financial officers and branch personnel as necessary
• Assists in monthly closing
• Prepares analysis of vendor accounts, as required
• Prepare/Assist in bi-weekly payroll
• Performs filing and copying
• Processes invoices into the computer system
• Researches and solves payment discrepancies
• Prepare accounting records, and other financial reports, to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standards defined within the department
• Establish records of accounts and input entries into proper accounts
• Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel
