Mountain View Hospital is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team! This position is 100% onsite-no telework option.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the processing of weekly accounts payable documents and completes daily business deposits.

Please note benefits are based on eligibility according to full-time, part-time or PRN status classification.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops accounts payables, verifies pay dates, & participates in weekly payment runs.
- Maintains and submits monthly Use Tax payment to the State of Idaho.
- Assist in maintaining, updating and submitting 1099’s to the Internal Revenue Service.
- Ensures original documentation is complete with appropriate supporting back-up material; match purchase orders with invoices for issuance of check to vendor.
- Accurately codes all vendor invoices using internal GL numbers.
- Enters all purchase orders and other non-P.O. payments into the accounts payable system to generate checks.
- Prints checks, matches, distributes, and files documents.
- Reconciles vendor statements with payments.
- Maintains accounts payable records in an orderly fashion.
- Performs the daily Business Deposits.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification: Associates Degree in a business or related field or on year work experience.
Experience: One to five years minimum of related experience.
Equipment/Technology: Experience with various computer software programs, especially Microsoft Office, and must have the ability to learn and operate the hospital accounts payable system. Experience with Oracle Cloud preferred
Language/Communication: Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and speak English.
Mathematical Skills: Must have basic mathematical skills.
Mental Capabilities: Ability to maintain high level of attention to detail.
Interpersonal: Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal skills and work well in a team environment.
Performance: Ability to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
