Hudson Automotive Group will be opening a brand new, state of the art Nissan showroom that spans 45,000+ square feet on a 15-acre site in Summerville, SC.

As a result of this expansion Hudson Automotive Group is actively seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk, Title Clerk, and Deal Auditor to join our Central Accounting Office in North Charleston! Who are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in dealership accounting is a plus.
  • High volume, accounting, and office administrative experience.
  • Ability to support team members in multiple areas as needed.
  • Candidates that want a career in the automotive industry.
  • Career minded, and growth motivated.
  • Good attitude and work ethic

Primary areas of responsibility for Deal Auditor:

  • Own deal auditing function.
  • Verify deal accuracy and necessary documents needed.
  • Communicate with accounting team members where necessary.
  • Assist with monthly closings of accounts, as required.
  • Assist with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary.

Primary areas of responsibility for Accounting Clerk:

  • Compile and sort documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.
  • Verify and post details of business transactions, such as funds received/disbursed, and total accounts.
  • Prepare accounts payable checks and post all open items in accounts payable daily.
  • Reconcile statement and the ledger making sure that payments are consistent with dealership schedules. Reconcile cash schedule.
  • Provide the title clerk with information on all purchased vehicles for title list.

Primary areas of responsibility for Title Clerk:

  • Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
  • Prepare tax and title documents.
  • Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
  • Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins.
  • Bill out all dealer trades and prepares Certificates of Origin.
  • Prepare report to management of any funds not collected from wholesalers due to incomplete title work.
