Job description
A food manufacturer selling to food retailers and distributors looking for a HANDS-ON Senior Accountant with 5 plus years of manufacturing accounting experience within a leadership role and the opportunity to be promoted to Controller.
Requirements:
· Bachelors in Accounting or Business discipline
· 5 years manufacturing financial accounting experience
· Ability to work independently in an extremely hands on environment
· Management of staff
· Prepare monthly and annual account reconciliations
· Experience working with outside accountants
· Preparation of quarterly and annual payroll reports
· Candidate must be data driven and understand cost of operations
· Cost accounting analysis
· Proficient in QuickBooks
· Accounts Receivable collection experience
· Accounts Payable
· Clear understanding of financial statements
Salary commensurate with experience.
