Account Operations Specialist – GBT Partner Solutions
Job Description: The Account Operations Specialist, GBT Partner Solutions (GPS), will be responsible for supporting and managing OBT maintenance for our GPS client OBTs (Concur, GetThere, DEEM & NEO) along with other tools/products for a portfolio of partners. This role will work closely with implementations, product owners and other cross functional teams. The individual must have technical knowledge of the online booking tool (Concur) as they will support navigation critical issues, agency administration, 3rd party technical integration. The Account Operations Specialist, GPS is an innovative and strategic great teammate who will support other initiatives as assigned by the GPS Account General Manager. Report to: Account General Manager
Principal Accountabilities:
- Provide support and specialization to the Account General Manager
- Handle GBTNetwork member Concur operations
- Own and complete company and user level changes in partners concur tree. Such as, but not limited to:
- Administrator Approval Queue
- Company Location and Maps
- User Administration
- Self-Assigning Influencer
- Report User
- Guest Booking
- Travel Policy Administrator
- Company Admin
- Case management which includes raising, tracking and bringing technical issues to closure.
- Troubleshoot OBT issues with partners.
- Maintain activity/case support log for review of recurring or system issues.
- Support regular site audits.
- Provide recommendations for improvement.
- Act as a liaison between GPS and the OBT vendor.
- Cascade relevant OBT updates to GPS team.
- Address Level 2 customer concerns from GBTNetwork members.
- Support GPS Account Managers with GBTNetwork initiatives.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously that may be unrelated.
- Responsible for SFDC updates
- Assist with partner reporting and general operational questions
- Support new member implementations
Location: US or Canada (Virtual)
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of online booking tools: Concur crucial.
- Experience coordinating changes in the OBT configuration.
- Attention to detail and organization skills.
- Organized, principled and adaptable approach.
- Adept at learning new technology.
- Experience with Salesforce preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in the travel industry.
- GDS knowledge: Sabre crucial, Travelport & Amadeus beneficial.
- Sabre Profile experience.
- GBT Internal: Previous year end rating must be minimum of meets expectations & not currently on any performance improvement plan.
Location
The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $46,000 to $93,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual Performance Based Incentive, which rewards participants based on company performance, one of our metric-driven Sales Incentive Plans (certain direct sales roles only), or one of our Client Management Incentive Award (CMIA) programs. An eligible employee can only participate in one of these plans during an eligible period.
