Responsibilities:

• Greets customers promptly, courteously, and in a timely manner, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handles incoming telephone calls according to established procedures for the facility.
• Manages the customer scheduling system using Tekmetric, a state-of-the-art, cloud-based shop management system.
• Efficiently schedules workflow through the shop, assigning work to technicians based on their skill level and the degree of repair difficulty.
• Listens to customers' needs and offers appropriate diagnostic, maintenance, or repair services using Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI's) prepared by our skilled service technicians.
• Provides customers with estimated completion times and keeps them informed of any changes. Offers estimated costs of repairs or services via email, text, or in person.
• Maintains proper communication with the service department, providing accurate and detailed information to assist technicians in diagnosis. Documents detailed notes in all Repair Orders (RO's) for clear and concise record-keeping.
• Discusses results of diagnostics, repairs, or findings with customers and arranges additional work if necessary.
• Strives to consistently achieve the highest level of customer service.
• Accepts payments, processes paperwork, runs reports, and operates computerized systems in the performance of duties.
• Handles minor customer concerns and escalates any unresolved issues to the Managing Director of Car Care Operations for quick resolution at their discretion.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of successful experience as an automotive service advisor or assistant in the automotive service industry, with demonstrated skills in customer service, scheduling, time management, active listening, verbal and written communication, and leadership.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma/GED is the minimum educational requirement.
• Must be available to work weekends as required.

Job Type:

• Full-time
• Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour (plus monthly sales bonus commissions)
• Bonus Commission Structure: Earn monthly commissions ranging from 3% to 3.5% based on your total individual sales of parts and labor, calculated before tax and after applying any discounts.
