Positions Open: FY23 School Year -up to 19.5 hours per weekSalary: $25-$50 per hour based on experience JOB SUMMARY: Review current 504s to ensure timely annual meeting reviewsSchedule, coordinate, and run 504 meetingsWrite 504 plans in for students who qualifyInsure effective communication regarding 504 accommodations, timelines, and requirementsAct as the liaison to teachers, admin, students, and families, related to 504 implementation to teachers, admin, students, and families,Follow all state and federal guidelines regarding 504 plansReview and revise current 504 process and explain the process to caregivers and staff REQUIREMENTS: Possess a Massachusetts Teacher Certification, Administrative license preferredA working knowledge of current laws, regulations, and guidelines related to disability discrimination in public schools, including Section 504Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse constituents, including children, parents, faculty, staff, and school administrationAbility to demonstrate initiative and exercise consistent good judgmentAbility to manage highly sensitive and confidential informationStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independentlyAbility to use E-Sped software preferred, or has the ability to learn the software quicklyAll applicants should apply online at School Spring PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT Position requires light work exerting up to twenty (20) pounds of force occasionally, and/or ten (10) pounds of force constantly to move objects.
