SIT-DOWN PROPANE OPERATED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

In Propak Logistics Salt Lake City a Forklift Operator drives a sit-down propane forklift approximately 95% of the shift. Usually, the forklift operator will move palettes from point A to point B. It is a dynamic fast-paced environment. Will usually work independently within a team. We are looking for a person to join our team full time, 40 to 44 hours a week, and/or occasional overtime. Compensation & Benefits:

• Starts at $18.00 - $20.00 an hour depending on experience. You will be eligible for an hourly increase up to .50 cents after a 90-day probationary period. You will be eligible to receive an increase of up to .50 cents on every year anniversary until the maximum is reached. Maximum may vary.

Duties:

• Operate a sit-down propane forklift
• Move loose palettes from point A to point B
• Occasionally pick up loose palettes from the floor
• Clock in and out on time every day
• Ensure that all palettes, rpc’s, and or boxes are properly accounted for and marked for proper documentation
• Be able to comply with daily forklift inspection
• Fill forms accurately including load sheets
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Able to communicate effectively with management
• Responsible to ensure the quality of load
• Keeps a clean work environment

Duties may vary. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
• 2 years experience
• The experience may have been gained in paid as well as volunteer positions.
• Available at least 44 hours a week and on occasions over time.
• Be willing to undergo a background check

• Be willing to undergo a drug test

Equipment needed to start:

• Steel toe boots
