If you said yes to both, we’re looking for you. A passionate young leader, excited by the opportunity to pour into the health and well-being of high school students in Farmington, NM. If you would be interested in providing thought-provoking and spiritually uplifting experiences for the next generation, consider jumping into this opportunity!

You would join a team of fun-loving, energy-drinking, denim-wearing young adults who represent Remix, our student ministry. We are looking for someone equally stoked about hanging out with teens each week, walking alongside them in life, and helping them to grow their relationship with Christ. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Have a blast! If we’re not fun, we can’t talk Jesus with students. At Remix, you’ll have to be able to be both goofy and relatable, chill and different.
• Be a disciple-maker. Pour into a student’s spiritual walk and encourage them to bring a friend next time.
• Go where they are. Spend time building life-changing relationships with students through social activities at school, outreach events, and community get-togethers.
• Every student matters. Bring your energy to connect quickly, while still effectively communicating clear biblical truths.
• Share the Gospel. You'll facilitate weekly gatherings for small group convos' and mid-week get-togethers.
• Build a Team. Actively recruit and guide a team of campus volunteers and leaders to reach into students’ lives by whatever means possible.
• Run point. You'll be the go-to person for the designated student ministry and provide oversight to the students in your community.
• You’re not alone. We have a passionate team of student pastors all over the state who plan big and bodacious events to bring students together; while creating space for them to share their story and learn about Jesus (BFF vibes.)
• Enjoy spiritual growth. You’ll thrive on the creation of biblically accurate, culturally relevant, and high-attraction teaching programs and services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Be a trailblazer when it comes to inspiring others about their relationship with Jesus Christ.
• You’ll need to be gripped by the vision to fulfill the Great Commission.
• Hold, or about to attain, a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies, Youth Ministry, Christian Studies, or Christian Leadership. Other areas of focus will be considered.
• Have an energetic persona to connect with high school students and bring them to the church community.
• Enjoy attending school sporting events and look for ways to take Sagebrush into the community.
• Need the details of a thoughtful plan of action, not letting one side of the task list drop, yet agile enough to change direction at the moment.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities; yet offers loads of fun while winning one more for Christ.

Sagebrush is a multisite church with multiple community locations based in Albuquerque, NM, and thriving online services that are reaching all across the world. Sagebrush offers a casual environment where people can experience contemporary worship and engage with one another through the teaching of the Bible. Our mission is to know Christ and to make Christ known.
