Job description

In this position the Report Writer provides on-going support to customers by correlating user needs with design and reporting and coordinating with the department’s developers. This position is responsible for report creation with report writing tools, primarily concentrated with relational data bases such as Statistical Analysis Software (SAS), and data mining large volumes of data using query tools such as Advanced Query Tools (AQT) or Structured Query Language (SQL) at an intermediate level.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Ability to adhere to work instructions/procedures regarding report writing, documentation and gather project requirements.

• SQL knowledge.
• MS office products knowledge.
• Understanding of business operational areas supporting LifeStream.
• Experience with reporting packages.
• General understanding in an integrated delivery system.
• Ability to assist in reviewing escalations and targeted report requests to determine presenting data meets its requirements.
• Ability to write ad-hoc reports, queries, uploads, and downloads.
• Ability to act as a liaison across the departments and systems.

EDUCATION:
AA in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent, (may substitute two years of work experience in the computer field for each year of college).

EXPERIENCE:
At least 1 year of technical experience of report writing tools SQL, Crystal Reports, My SQL, programming in CSS, PHP, Java, C++ is required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, ETC.
Current valid California Driver’s License.
Covid-19 vaccination required.
