Position Responsibilities:

• Manage all day-to-day operations.
• Eliminating wasteful practices and improving efficiency.
• Identified value processes. Introduce flow and pull.
• Training on the use of machines and wood fabrication techniques.
• Employee meetings and ensure that staff adhere to safety and standard operating procedures.
• Oversee all employees, machines and the shop to ensure safety.
• Monitor employees and production performance and procedures.
• Daily auditing of staff in completing production quotas.
• Ensure the quality of products.
• Oversee machines for proper operation, safety and maintenance.
• Supervise safety concerns, repair and maintenance issues.
• Report recommendations for improvements.
• Ensure all deadlines are met or exceeded.
• Resolve employees or customers problems.
• Interview woodshop applicants

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a woodshop manager. 5+ years of experience in the modern kitchen cabinets production industry.
• Extensive knowledge in modern cabinets build, designing and production.
• Extensive knowledge in high pressure laminate applications
• Experienced in implementing Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing and Just-in-Time.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Professional approach, warm and friendly.
