Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a hard-working and reliable Packaging Associate. Production is semi-automated and this role requires an associate who can maintain a consistent fast pace and verify that the product has a high-level of quality and consistency. The day-to-day responsibility of this position will be working to rotate cooling product, slice and package freshly baked bread, and ensure that the bread product quality and consistency meet company standards. This person will be trained in all the facets of packaging, staging, and sorting product.

Responsibilities:

-Rotate the bread to ensure that the bread is being cooled effectively and that the newly-baked hot bread does not come into close proximity to product that has been cooled and dried.

-Slice bread when appropriate

-Package final product and check to ensure bread products meet our standards for quality and consistency.

-Maintain proper food safety standards and sanitation procedures

-Working hours are Monday-Friday 8:00AM-3:00PM

-Approx. 20+hrs a week with chance of full time based on performance

Qualifications:

-Ability to communicate and work effectively with all associates in a team environment

-Must be reliable and show up to work on time

-Must demonstrate professional behavior at work

-Must be able to listen and follow instructions

-Must be detail-oriented when checking the bread for meeting standards of quality and consistency

-0-1 years of experience in production work environment; food production is a plus

-Must be able to work around various food processing equipment, including slicers

-Must be able to stand for long periods of time

-Must be 18 years or older

-High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay

-Base pay starts at $15/hour. Additional wage increases will be given for excellent work performance
