PURPOSE: Ensure Wellness Department is maintained in a manner that enables the department to meet sales goals and objectives while providing a high level of customer service at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist customers with product questions and members with special orders.
• Offer samples, suggestions, and product information to customers.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, helpful disposition.
• Maintain storage and retail areas in clean, orderly condition.
• Ensure displays are stocked, rotated, fronted, and faced daily.
• Ensure accurate, up-to-date price labeling and/or shelf tags for department items.
• Work with Buyer to evaluate vendors and investigate new sources.
• Provide clear, readable, consistent signage in accordance with TPSS branding.
• Receive deliveries or oversee receiving, following established receiving procedures.
• Process invoices for payment following established procedures.
• Keep accurate shrinkage records.
• Provide back-up for the Buyer when he/she is on vacation or when requested.
• Coordinate returns and obtain credit from vendors where applicable for returned, damaged, or spoiled items.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent customer service skills; professional behavior and tact when dealing with customers who have illnesses.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple deadlines, commitments and demands.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Hands on computer skills.
• Experience working with natural supplements preferred.

$16.60 per hour to start and $17.10 per hour after probationary period
