Job description

Our company is seeking a Welder with welding, shearing and grinding experience. In this role, you will weld metal parts and fit or assemble them into structures. It is essential to fabricate these parts according to technical blueprints, so you must use measuring tools to check your work. This job requires physical stamina as well as basic math and reading skills. Applicants must have experience fitting and welding steel. All applicants must be able to pass a drug test.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Fabricate steel and other metal parts according to blueprints
• Lay out cutting lines
• Use measuring tools to inspect work
• Weld steel
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Maintain a safe workplace
• Weld joints using TIG and Arc welding

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Experience with welding pipes in all positions using E6010 and E7018
• TIG welding experience preferred
• Physical stamina
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills
• Valid driver's license
• Job in Salisbury, NC

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
