AWC Frac Technology is seeking a motivated and hard-working individual to join our team in Odessa, Texas. Key job duties include, but are not limited to production welding, valve and related frac equipment repair welding and the fitting of parts for welding. Essential Job Functions

• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
• Proficient with weld processes such as gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and sub merged arc welding (SAW).
• Implement and maintain preheat and interpass temperatures.
• Read, understand and implement welding process specifications, part drawings and related documentation.
• Verify serial number of the equipment in weld repair process.
• Maintain accurate record of work completed in work repair routers and welder personal tally book.
• Safely operate additional tools such as grinders, cut-off saws, band saws, flame-cutting and plasma cutting equipment.
• Operates lifting equipment such as overhead cranes, jib cranes and forklifts.
• Maintains inventory of welding supplies routinely used in the operation by inspecting stock and requesting order for supplies as needed.
• Complete assigned training in accordance to AWC HR, Safety and Quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Welder job starting level at employment assigned following assessment of candidate experience and proficiency level.
• Working knowledge and experience in welding operations required with detailed knowledge of sub-arc welding (SAW) preferred.
• Minimum high school or equivalent required.
• Welding school certificates and/or related Associate Degree valued.
• Military service valued but not required.
• Available to work overtime and on the weekends as needed
