The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting visitors, vendors, residents and others. Answering phones and taking messages in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: One year of experience in an office environment. Experience with Long Term Care preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
• Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines & printers)
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Excellent organizational skills
• Multitasking & time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Customer service attitude
• Saturady ,Sunday some Holiday
• Hours 8am-5pm

Job Duties:

• Greet & welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the facility
• Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
• Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms, and brochures)
• Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, and safety standards.
• Provides assistance, guidance and direction to visitors and vendors. Ascertains the nature of their business; assists and/or directs visitors and patients to various locations in the facility when appropriate. Calls for security when necessary.
• Receives telegrams, messages, flowers, newspapers, and other items; notifies appropriate personnel. Maintains log of items received; delivers or arranges for the delivery of items to residents and appropriate personnel.
• Maintains directory and files on active and discharged residents, their location, resident status, and other pertinent information according to established procedure.
• Directs inquiries regarding the resident condition to appropriate personnel.
