Our history begins when James Richards was working in Formula 1 Racing and providing leading-edge transmission solutions. It was then that James Engineering started to materialize as the need for precision deburring and chamfering was needed for the state-of-the-art transmissions.

James Richards was a key figure in allowing Nelson Piquet to win the Formula 1 World Championship twice, Gordon Johncock to win Indianapolis 500, and Electromotive to claim the GTP Championship. During that time, James himself won NHRA’s best engineering award. Shortly after that time, James brought his innovations to the world. Since this time, James Engineering has brought the world pioneering advancements.

James Engineering is manufacturing world renowned patented high-tech 11-axis CNC deburring machines. While we started in Formula 1 Racing over 35 years ago, our technology touches virtually every aspect of the modern world. From high-end crock pots, to windmills, power tools, automobiles, tractors, to every plane in the sky; James Engineering’s equipment is found in nearly all major manufacturers.

Position Summary

We are seeking highly skilled, smart, problem-solving individuals who work well in a team environment. Choose working day shift or evening shift.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Setup, program, and operate lathes and mills
• Preferred ability to setup and operate manual machines as required
• Experience with MasterCAM, Gibbs, or other required
• Knowlege of cutting tools and components required
• Ability to inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, etc. required
• Time tracking for costing purposes
