Bangor manufacturing company is seeking a Warehouse Team Member for our Warehouse/Cooler department. This is a Monday – Friday position 8:30am – 5:00pm. Starting pay is $18.00/hour with overtime potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and complete work orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule. Duties include loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts on all work orders completed and perform inventory controls using the computer.
• Operate forklift and powered pallet jack to stage and/or move finished products and materials with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Load and unload trucks with outgoing finished products.
• Ensure that all packaging equipment and the packaging area are completely clean and prepared before production the next day.
• Work in all assigned areas of warehouse, cooler, and packaging area; perform relief duties as needed.
• Maintain quality requirements in accordance with company standards. Responsible for reporting all quality defects or issues/concerns.
• Ability to work in a cold environment. Work takes place in a Cooler with temperatures between 38 and 42 degrees Fahrenheit.

General:

• Perform assigned duties satisfactorily, in a timely manner, with minimal supervision.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and sanitation procedures.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Reading & writing proficiency (English language)
• Basic math and computer skills; some knowledge of Excel a plus
• Manufacturing, warehouse, or food service experience preferred
• Forklift experience is required; proficiency preferred
• Attention to detail and accuracy is critical
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
