Job description
House-Autry Mills is looking for an energetic Warehouse Operator for first shift. The Warehouse Operator performs a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming product, picking, and filling orders from stock, stacking, and wrapping product and/or building pallets. Warehouse operators are active throughout their day working independently to select full-case product using powered material handling equipment. The Warehouse Operator may also be required to stretch wrap pallets and prepare them for shipment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately select customer orders.
- Build and wrap pallets
- Hand stack cases of product weighing up to 25 pounds
- Stretch wrap pallets with labels and move completed order to the loading dock area
- Move products from bins to pallets
- Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free.
- Accurately receive inbound products and replenish inventory as needed.
- Observe all safety policies and procedures.
- Other projects or duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
- High School graduate or GED required
- Accuracy in documentation
- High Attention to detail
- Strong administrative, organization and customer service skills are essential
- Ability to communicate with peers and supervisors
- Proficient with MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to prioritize but also multiple tasks
