Pay: $17-00 - $19.00/hr. DOECapitol Distributing is the largest convenience wholesale distributor in Idaho. Founded in 1983, Capitol delivers to retailers in Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington, California, and Arizona from its 225,000 square foot distribution center in Caldwell, Idaho.
Warehouse Supply Clerks work day shift. Shift start times are 5:00am or 8:00am, Monday – Friday, with occasional weekends. This is a full-time position.
Some of what you'll do as a Warehouse Supply Clerk:
- The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient replenishment of product in the warehouse.
- Replenishing product in inventory slots.
- Rotating product throughout the facility using the first in/first out method.
- Assist in obtaining product from the receiving team.
- Assist the order selection team when necessary
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Fold and stack cardboard as needed
- Follow safety & security guidelines
- Knowledgeable of work area and inventory
- Perform other duties and work in other areas as assigned
- Experience working in a Warehouse or Manufacturing Environments a plus.
- The ability to understand warehouse mapping.
- Demonstrated ability to safely use warehouse equipment.
- An ability to lift and move cases up to 50 lbs.
- A history of following policies and safety guidelines.
- An ability to work overtime upon request.
Warehouse Supply Clerks will work in regular or freezer temperatures. During the interview process the applicant can specify which department they want to work in. Individuals working in freezer conditions will be provided adequate cold gear and receive additional hourly differentials. This role is very fast-paced and requires a significant amount of movement to meet replenishment rates. The position will also require general physical movements such as walking, standing, lifting, bending, twisting, and reaching. Individuals will also be expected to follow and understand basic instructions/ policies.
