Responsibilities Include:

• Accurately cut and label wire to fill orders on a timely basis.
• Pick, fill and pack wire related orders to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries.
• Receive and stock incoming material in a safe manner manually or by equipment.
• Maintain the wire aisle in an orderly manner; log and use wire shorts as required.
• Follow safety rules when lifting, managing heavy material, and operating equipment.
• Maintain neat and orderly work areas to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Some warehouse, shipping, and delivery experience.
• Ability to safely handle warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and stock chasers.
• Strong math and reading skills and understand English.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications abilities.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and collaborate within a multi-functional team.
• Detail oriented, organized, consistent and tenacious.
• A team player – work together with others to accomplish common goals of company.
• Self-motivated and self-starter.

This position will require frequent: bending/stooping, squatting, climbing, crouching, reaching above, kneeling, pushing/pulling, and occasionally lifting up to 50lbs throughout the working shift (the buddy system is highly utilized). Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
